Resulting from the artistic intervention contest The Pimp-Pollo Project, which gathered artists and designers from all around the country, Casa San Gallito proudly presents its renewed Design Rooms, which are located in Casa Morelos, just one block away from our main property. This rooms provide a whole new level of comfort, privacy and, of course, sense of design. Our guests staying in this house have total access to all the hostel's facilities 24 hours a day, enjoying a unique and fascinating private room at the same time.
Enveloping Siren

Iter + D3A is a young couple of visual artists. Based in an imaginary story about the creation of the seas, they painted an amazing mural of a siren which, literaly, envelops the whole room with her hair, from where all marine creatures arise.
The room accommodates two guests in two twin beds. It features cable TV, fan and semi-private bathroom.

Reviving

Ecopilia is a company dedicated to produce decorative elements exclusively from recycled materials. For this room, they've created furniture from waste materials as a woden box desk, a chair made with a tire, a night table of colected books and a beautiful mural with pieces made of recycled paper.

Dorms
Our mixed dorms are big and bright with super high ceilings and lots of space (no more crowded camp-style dorms). Each bed has its own reading light, night shelf and power outlet. Lower bulk beds feature curtains for added privacy. Next to the bathroom area, there’s a comfortable common room featuring lockers, dressing rooms and washbasins.
